McDonald, Reba M. (29 Jan. 1913 - 18 Apr. 2005)

Reba M. McDonald, 92, of Pittsville died at 2:39 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at United Church of Christ in Pittsville. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery in Pittsville.

Reba was born Jan. 29, 1913, in Argyle to John A. and Hattie (Phillips) Dickson. She married Berlie McDonald on Oct. 13, 1934, in Granton. He died on March 7, 1991.

She was a homemaker and also farmed with her husband in the town of Cary until 1991.

Survivors include one son, Verlen (Sally) of Pittsville; two daughters, Beverly (LeRoy) Thiemke of Marshfield and Audrey (William) Messer of Dela-van; two half-brothers, Wilbur (Margie) Dickson of Pittsville and Forrest (Charlotte) Dickson of Brighton, Ill.; three half-sisters, Fern (Wayne) Schwanebeck of Pittsville, Betty Dickson of Iola and Lila (Melvin) Jonehson of Kennewick, Wash.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Buchanan Funeral Home of Pittsville is assisting the family with arrangements.
