Losse, Howard H. (4 Apr. 1914 - 28 June 2005)
Howard H. Losse, of Grand Chute, age 91, died on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at Carolina Manor. Howard was born in Loyal, Wisconsin, on April 4, 1914, son of the late August and Ida (Henke) Losse. Howard loyally served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Howard married Dorothy G. Peterson on November 13, 1948, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She preceded him in death on November 17, 2002. Howard was a gifted artist who loved painting and gardening.
He is survived by his three children: Sandra K. (Al) Baer, Appleton; Michael H. (Connie) Losse, Madison; Jack A. (Carol) Losse, Little Chute; three grandchildren: Brian (Kate) and Junelle Baer, John Losse, two great-grandchildren: Jack and Grace Baer and a granddog, Buffy.
Howard was preceded in death by his two sisters.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2005, at Wichmann Funeral Home, with Rev. Kent Ingram officiating. The visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 30 from 9:30 until the time of service. The interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Military honors will be held at the cemetery following the service. As an expression of sympathy, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association: (920) 727-5555. The family wishes to thank the staff at Carolina Manor for their loving care of Howard.
