Stublaski, Benedict G. (18 Mar. 1922 - 19 May 2005)

Benedict G. Stublaski, 83, of 1140 Dewey St., Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2005, at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. The Rev. Andrew Karoblis will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park in Wisconsin Rapids.

Benedict was born March 18, 1922, in Rudolph to Anton and Mary (Keawash) Stublaski. He married Florence Walter on June 25, 1949, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal.

Benedict was employed at Consolidated Papers Inc. at the Paperboard Division as a bale operator and a tow motor operator for 42 years, retiring in 1984.

Survivors include his wife, Florence; one daughter, Barbara (Nicholas) Gearhard of Germantown; and two sisters, Amelia Troyanoski of Stevens Point and Helen Neiweem of Colorado Springs, Colo.

Benedict was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and five sisters.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids.
