Bobb, Almeda (17 APR 1867 - 9 MAR 1939)

Almeda Cudney, daughter of Ezekiel and Ann Cudney was born at Orion, Richland Co., Wis., on April 17, 1867, and died at her home in the Town of Reseburg, Clark County, on March 9, 1939.

She was married to Thomas Bobb on Dec. 4, 1884. In 1892 she moved with her family to her present home in the Town of Reseburg.

Surviving relatives are her husband and six children, Prof. T.N. Bobb of Ashland; Mrs. Walter Klaar of Abbotsford; Mrs. Percy Marshall, Mrs. Ed Asselin, Arthur and Virgil of Thorp. Two brothers, George Cudney of Pontiac, Mich., Lloyd Cudney of South Beloit. Three sisters, Mrs. Caroline Bobb of Muscoda, Mrs. Martha Mathews of Beloit, Mrs. Kate Bobb of Turlock, Calif. And twenty-three grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. F.P. Pfaffman on Saturday afternoon at two o’clock at the Congregational Church at Reseburg, of which she was one of the first members. She was a member of the Reseburg Ladies Aid which she helped organize.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Lavern, Lyle and Gerald Asselin, Conrad Haas, Kenneth Bobb and Donald Marshall.

Interment was made in the Sylvan Cemetery, Reseburg.

Out of town people here to attend the funeral were, Mr. and Mrs. S.B. Cook and two sons of Cumberland, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Barnhart of Menomonie, Mr. and Mrs. Elias Ott and daughter of Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Klaar and daughters of New Auburn.
