On Nov. 22, 1899 she was united in marriage to John Piatek and ten years later came to Thorp with her husband and located on a farm near here. Her husband and six children survive: three sons, Stanley of Chicago and Albert and Leon of Thorp; three daughters, Helen (Mrs. Joe Kowieski), Frances (Mrs. Leo Juskiewicz) and Julia (Mrs. Nick Kowieski) all of Chicago, one brother, Stanley Pierzchala in Poland, and one sister, Mrs. Josephine Swider of Chicago.
The body lay in state at the Bogumill Funeral Home until Saturday morning when the funeral was held at St. Hedwig’s Church, Rev. S. Dzialdowski officiating. Interment was made in the parish cemetery nearby. Pallbearers were, Martin Cieciora, Thos. Gunia, Frank Pietras, John Nowobielski and Wm. Brzezinski.
