Podolak, Andrew (15 NOV 1878 - 8 APR 1939)
Andrew Podolak, 60, a farmer of the Town of Aurora, Taylor Co., Wis., passed away at his home of heart trouble on Saturday, April 8, 1939, at 6:00 p.m.
The deceased was born in Austria, Poland, on Nov. 15, 1878. He came to America in the year 1901 and resided in Pennsylvania, Chicago, Lublin and the past twelve years on a farm near Gilman. On Feb. 4, 1905 he was married to Miss Rose Hubisz in Pennsylvania. He leaves to mourn, his widow and the following children, four sons, Joseph of Chicago, John, Frank and Henry at home, three daughters, Mrs. Mary Puljas of Chicago, Mrs. Stella Krug of Los Angeles, Calif., and Miss Bernice at home, one brother, John in Chicago, and one sister still in Europe.
The funeral procession started from the home on Tuesday and services were held at St. Mary’s Church at Lublin at ten a.m., Rev. Palaszewski officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were John Staszuk, Victor Nicoski, Frank Hacewicz, Joe Wisniewski, Mike Demoniuk and John Jarmolek.
