Wnek, John & Angeline (Gold - 22 APR 1939)

Mr. and Mrs. John Wnek celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, Saturday, April 22nd, 1939. A Mass with blessing was said at St. Hedwig’s Church at 10 a.m., Rev. C. Wisniewski officiating. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. John Nowobielski. The twin grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Nowobielski acted as flower girls. Three sons, four daughters and twenty-four grandchildren were present. A reception was held at their home to about fifty relatives and friends. They received many beautiful gifts.

Those from out of town who attended the jubilee were: Mrs. J. Cekus and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Keller of Chicago, Frank Pruskowski, Peter Miller and P. Godek, all of Newark, N.J.
