Kaucnik, Charles D. (18 Jan. 1934 - 7 June 2004)

Charles D. Kaucnik, 70 of Beach Park, IL formerly of Owen, WI, died Monday, June 7, 2004 at Lake Forest Hospital. He was born on January 18, 1934 in Ohio and married Barbara Lyton on October 15, 1955 in North Chicago. Charles was a self employed builder by trade.

He is survived by his wife Barbara; 3 daughters, Karyn R. Kaucnik of Beach Park, IL, Susan (Donald) Liefbroer of Bristol, WI and Laura (Charles) Rohrdanz of Gurnee, IL; one grandson, Charles Rohrdanz, as well as three brothers, Edward (Bonnie) Kaucnik of Beach Park, IL, Kenneth (Susan) Kaucnik of Zion, IL; and Leon Kaucnik of Basalt, CO, as well as 3 sisters, Dorothy (Arnold) Bare of Aitkin, MN, Louise Reeves of Wadsworth, IL., and G. Su (Tom) Meyers of Evergreen, CO., as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Vencie and Julia Kaucnik.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2004 at the Salata Gurnee Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Ave, Gurnee. Interment will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday Only.
