WITHEE - Robert L. "Bob" Sanders, 73, of the town of Grover, died April 26, 2004, in the emergency room of Wausau Hospital Center.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford. Burial will be in Perkinstown Community Cemetery, where military rites will be performed by Medford VFW Military Honors Squad.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and prior to service time Friday, both at the funeral home.

He was born Oct. 28, 1930, in Stevens Point to Robert and Helen (Wleklinski) Zielinski. He was united in marriage to Elin Emstrom on Aug. 14, 1965, at Medford. He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps Special Forces during the Korean Conflict. After his discharge, he worked as a foreman at Hurd Millwork in Medford and later as a salesman for Medford Millwork, until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Elin Sanders of the town of Grover, and his brother, Lester (Viola) Zielinski, Dorchester, Wis.
