Lopatkiewicz, Thomas (1912? - 19 JUN 1939)

Thos. Lopatkiewicz, 26, committed suicide Monday night about twelve o’clock at his tavern two miles north and one-half mile west of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). He had locked himself in his auto and drank a bottle of Lysol. He died before reaching the hospital at Stanley.

No reason for the act was given although he and his wife were estranged, and he had become morbid.

He leaves two small children.

The body lies in state at the Bogumill Funeral Home and funeral services will be held this Thursday morning at ten o’clock at St. Mary’s Church at Lublin.
