Winkler, Agnes Amelia (4 Aug. 1913 - 5 Jan. 1940)
Mrs. John Winkler of Unity died Friday at the Marshfield hospital at the age of 26 years, intestinal obstruction of the bowels, for which she was operated on, being the cause of her death. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Trinity Lutheran church at Unity, Rev. J. A. Olson officiating, and internment was made in the parish cemetery. Pall bearers were Roger Woodkey, Gilbert Rymer, Lawrence Schultz, Lester Safemaster, Orville Westberg and Lorraine Flink. Those in charge of the flowers were Mrs. Alice Schultz, Miss Inez Smith, Mrs. Archie Blattier, Miss Flora Williamson, Mrs. Lorraine Flink and Mrs. Elenore Johnson.
Mrs. Winkler, nee Agnes Armelia Arnold, was born in Vernon county August 4, 1913. In 1925 she came to this vicinity with her parents. She was married to John Winkler in Chicago on August 15th, 1939, who survives with two children, Beverly Jean Scheunamen, 6, and Vernon Scheunamen, 10. Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Simon Arnold, a brother, Donald, and a sister, Eva, all of Spencer, Wis.
