Noll, John H. (6 May 1870 - 13 Oct. 1942)

John N. Noll was born may 6, 1870, to Joseph and Elizabeth (Redig) Noll. He was married to Elizabeth Kohler in Milwaukee July 18, 1893. He passed away at his home on the north side at 2:50 Oct. 13th, 1942, after an illness of five years duration. Nine children were born to this union: Harry, Phelps, Wis.; Stella, Mrs. John Hainzlsperger, Unity; John, Jr., Stevens Point: Frank, Redfield, S. D.; Alma, Mrs. Otto Hainzlsperger and Raymond, Neillsville; Arnold, Lynn; Viola, Mrs. Pete Johannsen, Milwaukee and George, Madison.

Mr. Noll was a motorman in Milwaukee for 13 years. Thirty-one years ago he came to Clark County, settling on a rented farm west of Neillsville, Wis. They moved to this city five years ago, at the time he became ill.

He is survived by his children, 31 grandchildren and by the following brothers and sisters:

Joe Noll, Beaver Dam, and Anton Noll, Elizabeth, Mrs. John Dedtlof, Mary, Mrs. George Worhle, and Helen, Mrs. Edwin Schmidt, all of Milwaukee.

A rosary service was held for the departed at eight p.m. Oct. 15, at the Schiller Funeral Home, where brief services were held at 8:30 Friday, followed by the rites at St. Mary’s Church at 9:00. Rev. J. A. Biegler officiated. Interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery.

(Additional note)

I know this obituary ismore than 70 years old, but I am wondering
if you can put
a correction or note somewhere for other family researchers. John H. Noll
was
the son of Joseph P Noll and Carolina Fraundorf-Noll-Berger-Bader, not
Elizabeth
Redig Noll. Elizabeth Redig Noll was his grandmother. John H. Noll was my
grandfather's brother.

thank you,
