Meyer, Mary (8 JUL 1895 - 8 SEP 1939)

Mrs. Albert Meyer, 44, years of age, of the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away at Mt. Washington Sanatorium, Eau Claire, after a long illness, on Friday, Sept. 8th, 1939.

All the care and love that skilled physicians and an anxious household could devise and apply for her comfort and assistance were brought into play, but the fiat of Him who rules our incomings and outgoings had been issued and after a brief struggle, despite the prayers and entreaties of all who knew and loved her, their appeals were overruled and before the break of day the suffer’s spirit took its flight to that home the Christian believes is the fulfillment of the life everlasting.

Mary Baldeschwiler was born in the Town of Worden on July 8, 1895. She was united in marriage to Albert Meyer on Nov. 18, 1919. To this union were born three children, one son William, and two daughters, Katherine and Elaine, who, with her husband and one brother, Anton Baldeschwiler, and two sisters, Mrs. Emil (Anna) Henke and Mrs. Louis (Louise) Henke of Thorp, are left to mourn.

The last services were held at St. Bernard’s Church here at nine o’clock Monday morning, Rev. A.M. Muckerheide officiating and interment taking place in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Oscar Boie, Ray Katterhagen, Walter Verkuilen, Robert Haas, Joe Haas and John Maier.
