He was united in marriage to Miss Elizabeth Magdalene Witkowski in Chicago on Aug. 18, 1891.

Besides an aged widow, he leaves to mourn, four sons, Joseph, Frank, John and Paul of Milwaukee, eight daughters, Anna (Mrs. Joe Zaidel), Thorp, Elsie, (Mrs. Ed Godlen) and Julia (Mrs. Roman Lozynski), of Chicago, Marie (Mrs. Chas. Luby), Melrose Park, Ill., Katherine of Evantson, Ill., Sophie (Mrs. Andrew Zaborowski) and Helen (Mrs. Eugene Hessley) of Milwaukee, and Stella (Mrs. Eugene Wilhelm) of Thorp.
