Warner, William (19 MAY 1873 - 16 NOV 1939)

William Warner died of a heart attack at his home in Jump River, Nov. 16, 1939, having reached the age of sixty-six years, five months and twenty-eight days.

The deceased was born in Poynette, Wis., on May 19, 1873. He was united in marriage in Oct. 1910 at Chippewa Falls, to Emma Bowie, who survives him. They resided on a farm near Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) and Jump River, with the exception of the past thirteen years spent in Jump River Village.

Other surviving relatives are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. S. Warner, two sisters, Mrs. W.H. Bowie of Stanley, and Mrs. Ethel Flora of Eidsvold. Five brothers preceded him in death, Martlo, Monroe, Oma, Ora and Otto.

Funeral services were held at Jump River on Nov. 19th at 1:30 a.m., Rev. George Fisher of Hannibal officiating, and interment being made in the jump River Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased: Roy, Lee and Ora Warner, brothers: Claire, Fay and Guy Warner. Flower bearers were six great nephews, Raymond and Loran Warner, and Ronald, Duane, Leonard and Emory Warner.
