Jagielski, Joseph (19 MAR 1863 - 31 JAN 1940)
Last rites were conducted by Rev. F.A. Kulig at St. Hedwig’s Church at nine o’clock Saturday morning for Joseph Jagielski, an aged resident of the Town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), who passed away on Jan. 31st, 1940 of old age complications.
Mr. Jagielski was born in Poland on March 19th, 1863, and had reached the age of 76 years, 10 months and 11 days. He was united in marriage to Mary Przorzonska in Sept. 1889 and spent the past 30 years in this community as a farmer. His health failed him in the last two years.
Besides his widow he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Geo. Nevers of Chicago; and one sister, Mrs. Josephine Pepera of Stanley.
The body was laid to rest in St. Hedwig’s Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were, Martin Soda, Jacob Rogus, Jacob Rogus, A. Rycerz, Chas. Strzok and A. Bonk.
