Kmiec, Peter, (29 JUN 1867 - 5 FEB 1940)
Peter Kmiec of the town of Taft, passed away at the Stanley Hospital last Monday at the age of seventy-three years. He was born in Poland, June 29th, 1867, and came to America about fifty years ago. He has resided on a farm in Mitterhoffer for the last forty years.
The only surviving relatives is his daughter Stella (Mrs. Harley Swim) of this village (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.).
The funeral services were held at the National Catholic Church at Lublin on Thursday last.
Mrs. Kmiec died last October after three months of sickness.
