Pflughoeft, Ferdinand Henry W. (26 June 1859 - 1 Nov. 1942)
Ferdinand Henry W. Pflughoeft passed away at his home in the town of Pine Valley on the first day of November, 1942, at the age of 83 years, four months and five days, old age complications being the cause of his death.
Funeral services were held November 4, at 1:30 p.m. at Jaster’s Funeral Home and at 2:00 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, the Rev. William A. Baumann officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery. Mr. Pflughoeft was born June 26th, 1859, in Germany, to Frederick and Ernestine (Fromming) Pflughoeft.
The departed came to America in 1884. Two year later on the ninth day of June, 1886, he was united in marriage to Miss Bertha Rusch. Seven children were born to his union, four of whom survive their parents, namely: Miss Clara Pflughoeft, Neillsville; Anna, Mrs. E. C. Peck, Detroit, Mich.; Margaret, Mrs. William Maas, Neillsville, and Henry Pflughoeft, Milwaukee. He also is survived by a brother, Fred Pflughoeft, of Pine Valley, and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Becker, Marshfield.
