Cole, Vivian (Marriage - 6 Apr. 1940)
Miss Vivian Cole, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Cole of Abbotsford, Wis., and Clarence Fecker, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Fecker of Colby, Wisconsin were united in marriage at St. Mary’s parsonage Saturday morning, April 6th, at 11 o’clock, Rev. L. J. Lang performing the marriage ceremony. Mrs. Harry Fecker was maid of honor and Helen Umlauft was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Harry Fecker, brother of the groom, and Arthur Cole, brother of the bride.
The bride was attired in a becoming gown of royal blue taffeta and a solid blue violet hat. Her bouquet consisted of rose buds and sweet peas. The maid of honor wore a dress of dusty crepe and rose beige hat with brown and her bouquet consisted of rose buds and sweet peas. The bridesmaid wore a grey dress with royal blue and a hat of blue and her bouquet also consisted of rose buds and sweet peas.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated in rose blue grey for the occasion. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Fecker of Oshkosh, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Schimke and family of New London and Mr. and Mrs. John Fecker of Abbotsford, Wis.
The groom is engaged in farming in the town of Hull, Wood Co., Wis.
