Schmidt, Alice May (Marriage - 7 Nov. 1942)
Miss Alice May Schmidt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Schmidt of this city, and Lieut. N. P. Wagner, Austin, Minn., were married at four p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, the ceremony taking place in the army base chapel at Alamogordo, New Mexico. The couple will be at home at 1310 Ohio Ave., Alamogordo, for a month when a transfer is expected, presumably to Topeka, Kansas.
Before entering the army, eight moths ago, Mr. Wagner was employed with the Westinghouse Electric Co., Madison. He is a bombardier on the B-24’s liberator bomber, having received his wings on the 28th day of September last at Albuquerque, N. M.
The bride had been with the Unemployment Compensation Insurance office of the state, Madison, Wis., since her graduation, in 1934, from the Tomah High School.
