A number of neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Erickson gathering for a house warming at their new home last Tuesday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Magnuson and family spent Sunday with relatives at Whitehall.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Braatz and daughter spent Sunday evening with the Carl Eisentraut family.
Elmer Lichtke spent a furlought with home folks. He is stationed at Texas City, Tx.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Larson entertained at card Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wesenberg and son visited Mr. and Mrs. Ed Selves Wednesday evening. The Wesenbergs now live on Tom Winters place at Shortville. The Joe Vargo family now run the farm the Wesenbergs vacated.
Mr. and Mrs. George Swann of Crandon spent the weekend with relatives here.
Mrs. Ed Selves and Mrs. Clifford Blackman helped Mrs. George Buddinger pick geese Wednesday.
Mrs. Arthur Hubing and children, Mrs. Charles Hubing and daughters, and Mrs. Alvin Eisentraut called on Mrs. George Vine and family Sunday after church.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Erickson, and family spent Sunday with the Ted Ericksons at Eau Claire.
Frank Scholtz, who had been working for the Blackman Bros. this summer, is now helping his brother-in-law, Albert Gall, in Sherwood Township.
Mr. and Mrs. Elery Moberg entertained Mr. and Mrs. George Swann and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Swann at dinner Sunday.
