Former Teacher in Area Schools Dies

Colby--Archie C. Tweit, S. St. Paul, Minn., former teacher and coach at the Colby, Wis. High School, died of a heart attack Friday in S. St. Paul.

Services will be conducted at Luther Memorial Church in S. St. Paul at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Mr. Tweit had taught at the Colby, Wis. High School during the 1930's, then served as principal at the former Unity, Wis. High School until 1941 when he left with the National Guard for service in World War II. After retiring from military service, he became postmaster at S. St. Paul.

Survivors are his wife, the former Alice Hammond; and a son, both of S. St. Paul.
