Mengel, Irvin W. #2 (22 MAY 1951 - 26 SEP 2007)

Irvin W. Mengel, 56, Greenwood, died at his home on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007. Visitation will be held at Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, on Friday, Oct. 5, from 1 p.m. until time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. Cremainal interment will follow in the Loyal City Cemetery.

Irvin William Mengel was born on May 22, 1951, in the town of Hixon, to Robert A. and Joyce E. (nee Arndt) Mengel. He was raised and educated in Black River Falls. After completing his education, he worked at the Neillsville Foundry. And then later, worked as a farmhand in Christie. He lived in Christie, Antigo and Owen, and was currently residing in Greenwood. He enjoyed hunting and puzzles.

Survivors include two brothers, Marvin (Cindy) Mengel, Thorp, and Roger (Cherl) Mengel, Antigo; and three sisters, Sue Mengel, La Crosse, Carol (Marshal) Fagan, Marshfield, and Cindy (Arlo) Sutte, Antigo.
