Gerber, Ethel J. (17 NOV 1933 - 23 SEP 2007)

Ethel Jo Gerber, 73, Hagerman, Idaho, died on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, at San Bridge Care Center in Twin Falls, Idaho. Funeral services were held at 11 a/m/ on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Buhl, Idaho. Private committal services will be at St. Green Grove, Unity, Wis.

Ethel Jo Schuette was born on Nov. 17, 1933, in the town of Beaver, to Hugo and Hulda. She graduated from Loyal in 1951. On Aug. 17, 1957, she married Francis Gerber at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in South Green Grove, Unity, Wis. After their marriage, they resided in California and she worked as a legal secretary. In 1979, they moved to Hagerman, Idaho, where she had since resided.

Survivors include two brothers, Orville (Katy) Schuette and Merlin (Florence) Schuette; and two sisters, Evelyn Schlinsog and Arlene (Cal) Schultz, all of Wisconsin.
