Jakobi, Richard #2 (5 OCT 1944 - 21 OCT 2007)

Richard Jakobi, 63, Granton, died at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007. Visitation will be at Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, on Friday, Oct. 26, from 6 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 7"30 p.m. The Rev. Wendell Williams will officiate.

Richard Jakobi was born on Oct. 5, 1944, in Greenwood, to Roland and Irene (nee Brown) Jakobi. He was raised and received his education in the Clark County area. He worked for Ted Schlinsog for many years at Schlinsog’s Dairy. He then lived in the town of York and took care of his mother. He had many interests, but especially enjoyed hunting, polka music, car racing, auctions and gardening.

Survivors include his mother, Irene Jakobi, Granton; three brothers, Roger Jakobi, Loyal, Ronald (Donna) Jakobi, Granton, and Kenneth (Rita) Jakobi, Granton.

Preceding him in death were his father, Roland Jakobi, and two brothers, Terry Jakobi and Bruce Jakobi.
