Miss Helen F. Beyerl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beyerl of Colby, Wisconsin, and Mr. George J. Edelbeck of Goodman, Wis., son of Mr. and Mrs. James Edlebeck, were united in marriage Friday morning, August 9th, at 8:30 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby, Wis, Rev. L. J. Lang officiating at high mass. Music and mass were sung by the young ladies’ choir. Mrs. Ervin Meyer of Colby, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Mrs. Ervin Meyer.
The bride was attired in a becoming navy dress trimmed in white with navy redingote. Her corsage consisted of mixed flowers. The bridesmaid wore a navy jacket dress trimmed in white and her corsage also consisted of mixed flowers. Both the bride and her bridesmaid wore navy accessories and wore corsages of rose buds, pompoms, asters and baby breath.
A wedding breakfast was served to members of the immediate families at the Hotel Robinson after which the newlyweds left on a motor trip through Northern Wisconsin. The couple will be at home after September first at Black River Falls, Wis.
The bride is a graduate of the Colby, Wis. High School and for the past four and one-half years has been employed as stenographer with the Soil Conservation Service at Black River Falls.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and is employed as assistant principal of the Black River Falls High School where he taught the past seven years.
