Demmer, Joseph (1903? - Oct. 1940)
Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Tessmer received word Saturday from their friend, Mrs. Martin Prange of Columbus, Ohio, formerly Mrs. John Demmer, a former Colbyite, of the death of her only son, Joseph. Death was due to a stomach ailment. He was born in Colby, Wis., and moved to Kolze, Ill., when still a baby. He was 37 years old and leaves to mourn his departure his divorced wife, Beulah, and a daughter, his mother and two sisters, Edna and Agnes. His father preceded him in death about 21 years ago.
