Stasek, Helen (15 APR 1939)
The bonds of holy matrimony were tied to Miss Helen Stasek, route two, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and Ernest Johnson of Dorchester in the Catholic Parsonage at Stetsonville at 2:30 last Saturday afternoon. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Joseph Seeboth. The couple made an attractive one as the bride was beautifully attired in a white satin floor length gown.
Miss Norma Engebretson of Withee and Howard Anderson of Medford were the couple’s only attendants.
The bride’s long veil of white tulle was held in place by a cluster of white flowers, and she carried an arm bouquet of roses, carnations, snapdragons, and baby’s breath.
Miss Engebretson wore a pale blue taffeta dress with a blue floral headdress. She carried a bouquet similar to the bride’s.
Immediate relatives were entertained at a four o’clock dinner at the home of the bride. Covers were laid for 32 guests. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Emil Stasek of Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Johnson are now at home to friends on the bridegroom’s farm, route one, Dorchester (Clark Co.).
