Sweeney, Leola (Marriage - 30 Nov. 1940)
Miss Leola Sweeney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pokallus of Wausau, and Arthur Sterzinger, son of Mrs. George Sterzinger of Colby, were united in marriage last Saturday afternoon at the rectory of St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby, the Rev. L. J. Lang officiating.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Sterzinger, brother and sister-in-law of the bridegroom, attended the couple.
The bride wore a street-length royal blue wool dress with matching accessories and Mrs. Sterzinger was attired in a navy blue wool ensemble.
Supper was served in honor of the couple at the home of the bridegroom’s mother. The couple will reside at Colby, Wis.
