Laverenz, Erna (21 May 1895 - 15 Jan. 1941)
Mrs. Albert Laverenz of Unity, age 45, who had been in poor health for the past two years, died of a complication of ailments on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 12:15 A.M. at her home. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby, where the body had been lying in state, and at the Zion Ev. Lutheran church at Colby at 2:00 o’clock. Rev. O. Hoffmann conducted the rites and internment was made in the Colby cemetery.
The deceased was born in Davenport, Iowa, May 21, 1895, and was married in Chicago on March 6th, 1915, to Albert Laverenz. She had been a resident of Unity for the past 25 years. Surviving besides her husband are a son, Albert, at home; her mother, Mrs. Welhelmina Strojentin, who lived with Mr. and Mrs. Laverenz, and one brother, Paul Strojentin of Chicago.
