Voge, Marian Eleanor (Marriage - 18 Mar. 1941)
On her eigthteenth birthday anniversary today, Miss Marian Eleanor Voge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Voge, Abbotsford, Wis., became the bride of Robert Henry Wibben, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Wibben, also of Abborsford. Vows were repeated Tuesday afternoon at the parsonage of the Dorchester Lutheran church before the Rev. John Brandt.
The bride, in a gown of white satin with a bodice of Chantilly lace, completed her attire with a finger-tip tulle veil worn with a pearl headdress and carried a bouquet of roses, carnations and freesia.
Miss Dorothy Wibben, sister of the bridegroom who attended as maid of honor, wore a powder blue princess gown of satin with a matching bandeau with shoulder length veil, and carried carnations and jonkuils.
The bridegroom was attended by Roy Singstock, Abbotsford, Wis.
Seventy-five guests were invited to the reception held in the afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents. The house was decorated with white wedding bells and blue streamers were arranged over the white streamers and a canopy over the bridal table, which had for its centerpiece a large wedding cake.
In the evening a dance was held in honor of the couple at the Abbotsford armory, with music provided by Emil Daellenbach’s orchestra.
