Unity News
The caucus for the village of Unity was held at the village hall Thursday night, when the following candidates were nominated: T. R. Salter, president; Albert Bernatz, William Schultz, John Sorenson and John Fuller, trustees; M. J. Tennis, Clerk, E. L. Messer, treasurer, A. M. Salter and Ed. Purkis, assessor; Ed. Purkis and Homer Creed, justice of the peace; G. S. Cook, supervisor, east ward; William Creed, supervisor of west ward; H. Leffel, constable, east ward; and A. Wieland, constable of west ward.
E. L. Messer, Charles Creed and Sam Stark were appointed to the caucus committee.
Mrs. Sewell Cook entertained her Sunday school class Saturday afternoon in observance of the ninth birthday anniversary of her niece, Faith Mabbott.
