Capes, Dorothy M. (Marriage - 18 May 1941)

Miss Dorothy M. Capes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest E. Capes of Unity, and Donald Powers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harley G. Powers of Colby, were united in marriage on Sunday, May 18th, at the Unity Methodist church, Rev. Harry Lee reading the marriage ceremony. The attendants were Betty Capes, sister of the bride, and Dallas Powers, a brother of the groom.

The bride was attired in a becoming dress of white silk marquisette with finger tip veil and her shoulder corsage consisted of white roses. Her maid of honor wore a floor length dress of aqua blue marquisette and her shoulder corsage consisted of pink and white roses.

A wedding dinner was held at the church parlors.
