Tesmer, Harold (10 Feb. 1903 - 27 May 1941)
Harold Tesmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Tesmer of Colby, passed away at a Wausau hospital at 1:00 A.M. Tuesday morning after a few days of illness. Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at Athens with the Rev. W. H. Ortwein, pastor of the Athens Evangelical and Reformed church officiating and burial will be made in the Athens cemetery.
He was born February 10, 1903, in Colby, Wis. On November 11, 1929, he was married to Emma Wojciehowski, at Athens. Surviving are the widow; eight children, Marcella, Delores, Joan, Jerome and James Tesmer at home and three children by a previous marriage, Robert, Elizabeth, and Raymond Tesmer, Colby; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George T. Tesmer, Colby; two brothers, Elroy Tesmer, who lives in Louisiana and Arthur Tesmer, Owen, and two sisters, Bernice, who lives in Colorado, and Adeline, LaCrosse. His first wife, the former Margaret Nagel, preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Harold Tesmer, age 33, who died at a Wausau hospital were held last Thursday at the Gilles funeral home in Athens, Rev. W. H. Ortwein officiating. Burial was made in the Athens cemetery. Out of town people attending the funeral included his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Tesmer of Colby, Miss Elizabeth and Raymond Tesmer of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Tesmer of Owen, Miss Adeline Tesmer of LaCrosse, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Taylor of Loveland, Colo., and Mrs. Casmir Jankowski of Milwaukee.
