Gereau, Katherine (2 JUL 1939)
Miss Katherine Gereau, gowned in a beautiful gown of white lace with white accessories and carrying a bouquet of roses and baby breath, was united in marriage to Gerry Burris by Rev. H.W. Gereau, father of the bride, in the Holy Universal Church of Jesus at Maplehurst, at 8 o’clock p.m. Sunday evening.
The couple were attended by Rose Gereau, sister and the bride, and Steve Burris, brother of the groom. Miss Rose Gereau wore a white suit and carried a mixed bouquet while Mr. Gereau wore a dark suit the same as was worn by the groom. The flower girl was Miss Sarah Gereau, who was gowned in a dress of white lace matching the bride’s. A reception was held at the church at 6:30. The couple will make their home at Abbotsford, Wis.
The bride is well known in this city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.), having been employed for some time at the home of Mr. and Mrs. V.F. Shereda. The groom has lived in Abbotsford practically all of his life and has acquired a fine place in community affairs.
The couple are sincerely wished the best of luck and utmost happiness by their wide host of friends.
