Klocke, Louis A. (9 SEP 1939)
St. Paul’s Lutheran Parsonage at Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.) was the scene of a simple nuptial service Saturday afternoon, Sept. 9, 1939, at two o’clock when Miss Louis A. Klock and Larry N. Nelson, both of Curtiss (Clark Co.), were united in marriage by Rev. M.C. Goetsch.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reinhardt Klocke of Curtiss and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Nelson of Medford.
For the ceremony the bride was attired in a navy blue street dress with black accessories and a shoulder corsage.
Miss Harriet Berry and Archie Nelson both of Medford, cousins of the bridegroom, were the couple’s only attendants. Miss Berry wore a wine colored street dress with matching accessories and a shoulder corsage.
Fifteen guests are being entertained at a wedding supper this evening at the home of the bride’s parents. Out of town guests include Mr. and Mrs. Otto Nelson and son, Gordon of Medford. A wedding dance was given Sunday evening at Spreen’s Hall at Interlaken Resort.
Mr. Nelson and his bride will make their home with her parents. The bridegroom is employed as a cheesemaker at the Clover Hill Factory.
