Splitt, Myrtle (Marriage - 3 June 1941)
Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Myrtle Splitt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Splitt of Stratford, to Orville W. Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Davis of Colby, Wis. The wedding took place at the parsonage of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran church at Reno, Nevada, on June 3rd.
The bride wore a light beige suit with accessories of dusky rose. Her corsage consisted of pink and white carnations. Mrs. Davis had been teaching in the rural schools of Marathon county prior to her marriage.
Mr. Davis is now in the 18th Coast Artillery of Fort Scott, San Francisco, where he is serving his one-year induction in the army.
