Charles Hegg of Eau Claire has taken Weston Pannier’s place at the local office of the Northern States Power Co.
Miss Clara Sybeldon of Chippewa Falls visited several days with her brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fischer.
Mrs. Lawrence Weix returned from the Marshfield hospital where she had been a surgical patient for several weeks.
Frank Nikolay returned from Adeil where he had been employed for several weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Basil Wenzel moved onto a farm near Athens. Mr. Wenzel is a trucker for the White House Milk Company.
Miss Marjorie and Richard Young of Colby visited last week with their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Arlyn Brunkhorst.
Miss Althea Rilling was hostess to a group of Royal Neighbors. After the work of auditing the books was completed, the ladies had a picnic supper at the Memorial Park near Owen and then drove over to Stanley. The group consisted of Miss Rilling, Mrs. Charles Hoffmann, Mrs. Walter Fults, Mrs. Clint Bates, Mrs. Elmer Schraufnagel, all of Abbotsford and Mrs. Ed. Sorenson of Burlington.
