Buss, William (15 Aug. 1899 - 15 Aug. 1941)

William Buss, who was a patient in a Chicago hospital for more than two years, died at the hospital Friday afternoon, August 15th, on his 42nd birthday anniversary, of tuberculosis of the bone. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran church at Green Grove, Rev. M. C. Goetsch officiating, and internment was made in the Green Grove cemetery. The pall bearers were Henry Buss, Robert Schneider, Walter Lipprandt, Harry Lipprandt, Lawrence Krueger and Paul Fricke. Those in charge of the flowers were Adeline Buss, Rosie Buss, Mrs. Henry Buss and Mrs. Robert Schneider.

The deceased was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Buss and was born on August 15th, 1899, in the town of Green Grove where he lived most of his life. Surviving are four brothers and one sister - George and Fred of Abbotsford and Herbert, Martha and Frank of Green Grove.
