Kademan, Leona E. (Marriage - 28 Aug. 1941)
Miss Leona E. Kademan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kademan, became the bride of Delos A. Kobs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kobs, in a ceremony performed Thursday afternoon at 1:00 o’clock at the home of the bride’s parents. Rev. O. H. Hoffmann, pastor of the Zion Ev. Lutheran church of Colby, performed the ceremony.
The bride and her only attendant, Miss Eileen Kobs, sister of the bridegroom, wore street-length dresses of soldier blue crepe and shoulder corsages. Julius Kademan, brother of the bride, attended the bridegroom.
Dinner was served to members of the bridal party, their immediate families and a few friends at the Zion church parlors. Baskets of gladioli and lighted tapers were used as decorations.
The bride attended Colby, Wis. High School and has been employed at the A. F. Zillmer Company store the past ten years. Mr. Kobs is a graduate of the Colby, Wis. High School and Central State Teachers’ College at Stevens Point. He is band instructor at the high school in Marion where he and his wife will reside.
