Abbotsford News

Mr. and Mrs. Forest Stowe and son, Roland, and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Stowe and daughter, Barbara, returned from a visit with relatives in Iowa Thursday. On their return a car crashed into their car near Boseman, Mont., and while they were waiting for a traffic officer, another hit their car from the rear. They had to spend a week at Boseman waiting for repairs. No one was injured.

Sgt. Donald T. Ketcham of Hdgs. Battery, 121st Field Artillery has been appointed as second lieutenant.

Miss Esther Benz left for Milwaukee where she will attend school.

Miss Janet Johnston left for Eau Claire where she will teach in high school.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kretschmer left for Eagle, Wis., where they will be employed on a dairy farm.

Donald Keefe, who will teach commercial and band in Abbotsford, Wis., and his mother of Fort Atkinson are living in the upper flat in the Walter Jackson house.
