Hardrath, Lila (Marriage - 16 Oct. 1941)
Miss Lila Hardrath, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hardrath of Owen, Wis., and Alvin Frane, son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Frane of Colby, were united in marriage last Thursday morning at 10:00 o’clock at St. Jarlath’s Catholic church in Chicago, Rev. J. Flannery performing the ceremony. The couple was attended by the groom’s brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Frane of Colby, Wis.
The bride was attired in white brocated satin, with a finger-tip veil, and carried an arm bouquet of varied flowers. Mrs. Frane wore a gown of aqua blue, with headdress to match, and a wrist bouquet of miniature carnations.
After the ceremony a breakfast was served for the bridal party at the home of the bride’s brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hardrath, after which they autoed to Colby to spend their honeymoon in this community with relatives.
A wedding dance was held at Widenhoeft’s park which was largely attended by friends and relatives.
The newlyweds will reside at 1658 W. Congress street, Chicago.
