Glasby, William (23 Jan. 1878 - 23 Nov. 1941)

William Glasby died at his farm home about one mile south of Curtiss, Wisconsin, Sunday morning at the age of 63 years, cancer being the cause of his death. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the Glasby home and at 2:00 o’clock at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran church of Green Grove, Rev. M. C. Goetsch officiating.

Pall bearers were Henry Voightlander, Ed. Strade, Clarence Strade, Herman Singstock, Wm. Anderson and Otto Krueger. Those in charge of the flowers were Jeanette Strade, Ellen Voightlander, Bernice Strade, Bernice Buss, Roda Buss, Caroline Singstock, Janet Erickson and Audrey Buss.

Mr. Glasby is survived by his wife and five daughters - Mrs. Donald (Mary Jane) Hebert of Curtiss, Mrs. Louis (Larraine) DeWitt of Chicago and Margaret, Violet and Virginia at home. A son, Paul, preceded his father in death.
