Hahto, Bertha #2 (Marriage - 28 SEP 1939)
Thursday, Sept. 28, 1939, at two o’clock in the afternoon, Miss Bertha Hahto of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) and Edward Krumrey of Grayslake, Ill., exchanged matrimonial vows with the Rt. Rev. Lehman reading the service.
The bride was dressed in a blue afternoon dress and wore a corsage. Her bridesmaid of Highland Park, Ill., wore dubonnet with a corsage.
The groom was dressed in a brown business suit while his brother, Walter, who attended him, wore a conventional business suit of blue.
Following the service a reception dinner was held at the Mundelein Village Hall, where covers were laid for 90 guests. Later in the evening the guests enjoyed themselves by dancing. The following evening a group of friends of the newlyweds honored them with a dance given in their honor at the Atwood Hall.
