Hamm, Anna (15 NOV 1855 - 11 DEC 1939)

Anna Hamm was born in Germany on Nov. 15, 1855. In 1888 she came to the united Sates, and a year later was united in marriage to John Hamm. To this union were born six children, one of whom died in infancy. Her husband and one daughter, Mrs. John Schopfer, preceded her in death several years ago.

For the past eight years she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Amanda Sayles in Minneapolis, at whose home she passed away on Monday, Dec. 11, 1939, at the age of 84 years, 28 days. She leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Fred of Owen and Frank of Curtiss, and two daughters, Amanda of Minneapolis and Ella of Perkinstown, also two stepsons and two stepdaughters, Anna Of West Bend, Charley, John and Lizzy of Chicago; also 36 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Griebenow-Weirich Funeral Home at Owen at two p.m., Thursday, Rev. Rostad officiating. Burial at Pine Hill Cemetery at Curtiss, Wis.
