Mr. and Mrs. C. Baldwin and family and Mrs. McCune of Phillips spent Christmas and the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kuenkel. On Christmas day they visited Mr. and Mrs. Jess Pickett. Mr. Pickett was a cheese maker, here several years ago. He is in the Black River Hospital seriously ill with bronchial pneumonia. He is a World War Veteran.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Wegner and daughter, Doris, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wegner spent Christmas at the Ewald Thiede home at Granton.
Irene Kuenkel, Doris Wegner and Mary Ann Laken spent Christmas at their respective homes.
Bill Celar of Chicago is at home recuperating from a recent operation.
Miss Antonia Krainz, who is employed in Milwaukee, spent Christmas at her home.
The Christmas programs were held at the Worchel and Wildwood schools Wednesday evening last week.
Casmir Zajac of Chicago, and sister, Jennie, spent Christmas with their parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Tony Tolaney of Park Falls spent Christmas with relatives here. Tony took his father, Anton Tolaney, to Rochester to the Mayo Clinic Sunday, Frank, **Rest cut off**
