Mueller, Josephine (24 May 1859 - 4 Jan. 1943)

Mrs. Josephine Mueller passed away Monday at 5:30 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Langreck of the town of Grant, where she had made her home for the past 16 years, aged 83.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, the Rev. J. A. Biegler officiating.

Mrs. Mueller was born in Austria Hungary, May 24, 1859, her maiden name being Josephine Seidler. She came to America when she was 25 years of age, having made Clark County her home for fifty years.

She was united in marriage to Joseph Mueller who preceded her in death. She is survived by three step-children: Mrs. Henry Langreck, Matt and Pete Mueller, Milwaukee; a brother, Anton Seidler, whose whereabouts is not known, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mueller, though deeply devoted to her family and home, was an earnest worker in her church and above all a sincere Christian.
