Stevens, Donald Ivol (2 Sept. 1942 - 31 Dec. 1942)
Donald Ivol Stevens, four-months-old son of Pvt. And Mrs. James Stevens, passed away suddenly at his home in Greenwood on Thursday afternoon, December 31, from pneumonia. He was born at Greenwood September 2, 1942. His father, who is stationed in an army camp in the state of Kansas, arrived here Saturday. The funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon, January 3, at the home of his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Stafford. The Rev. Alex J. Abbott officiated. Interment was in the Greenwood cemetery.
Donald is survived by his parents, his paternal grandmother, Mrs. W. C. Hammer of Loyal, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Stafford of Greenwood.
