Sterr, Ethel (24 MAY 1940)
Friday morning of last week at eight o’clock a.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Sterr of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), their daughter, Ethel, and James Will, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Will of Reedsville, were united in marriage at a quiet service read by the Rev. J.C. Langholz, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Loyal.
Miss Sterr was attired in a long white chiffon gown and wore a white picture hat. She carried a bouquet of Easter lilies. Her maid of honor was her sister, Janet, who wore an aqua sheer dress of floor length and carried a bouquet of Johanna Hill roses.
The groom was attended by his brother, Foster Will.
Throughout the service Mrs. A.M. Wilson played appropriate music. Baskets of cut flowers were used as decorations.
Following the service a breakfast was served to the immediate relatives.
Mr. Will was formerly of Loyal but for the past three years has been employed in Owen by his brother.
The young couple will make their home at Loyal after the first of September, where Mr. Will will be employed in the future. Their many friends are happy to hear of their marriage and wish them a long wedded life.
