Riemer, Albert H. (24 Jan. 1863 - 29 Dec. 1941)
Albert H. Riemer died Monday night, Dec. 29th, at Juneau, Wis., at the age of 78 years. Death was due to the infirmities of old age.
He was born on Jan. 24th, 1863, in Germany. He was the son of Wm. and Louise Riemer and he came to America at the age of five years and grew to manhood near Watertown, Wis. In 1889 he married Rose Meyer of Watertown, Wis., and shortly after their marriage, they moved to Greenville, Wis., where they lived on a farm for ten years and from there they moved to a well equipped 120 acre farm near Colby where they farmed for thirty years. After his retirement, he lived in Watertown for a time and later made his home in Juneau, Wis.
Surviving him are seven children - John of Owen, Mrs. Wm. Kennow of Owen, Louis, Leonard, Meta, of Watertown, Ernst of Ft. Atkinson, Loe Stafan of Hartford, Wis., and 23 grand children and three great grand children.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Jan. 2nd, at 2:30 at the Zieloff Funeral Home at Juneau, Wis. Burial was made in the Lutheran cemetery at Juneau.
All the children and a number of grand children were present at the funeral and the four sons acted as pall bearers.
